On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, Frances Collins Davis, formerly of Sneedville, Tn., went to be with our Lord and Savior after a brief illness. Frances lit up the lives of virtually everyone who met her and was known for her love of photography, gardening and children. Frances stood well under 5 feet tall but her personality was bigger than she was, as she touched many people in her 92 years in her earthly home. Frances was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Collins (Chattanooga, TN), sister, Joyce Turnmire (Knoxville, TN), husband, Robert "Bob" Davis (Waynesville NC & Sneedville TN).She is survived by her son, Wesley Davis (Deanna Davis) of Cameron, NC, granddaughters Jessica Rattelade of Waynesville, NC, and Nicole Davis, of Portland, MEArrangements are being made by Mc Neil Funeral Home in Sneedville, TN.The day Frances left, North Carolina witnessed one of the most beautiful sunsets that had occurred all year. As the sun went down, Frances left with it and rejoined her friends and family in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by many.

Sorry to hear about Frances, she was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met. If you knew Frances you had to love her.

Aunt Francis was an amazing lady. She is a beautiful lady in every way and a light in this world . Her dolls are something she gave me and my girls will be treasured. She will truly be missed by Mike myself and our girls.

Aunt Francis was an amazing lady. Always so kind and a beautiful light in this world. Her dolls and the ones she gave me and my girls are so special. They adored her as much as me and Mike do. She will be missed

Sorry to hear Aunt Francis had passed.. she always lit up a room or one of our famous 'get togethers'. She was the last one in our original Davis family and she will be missed..
