Hunter Scott Seal- age 29 of Sneedville, TN went home to be with the Lord on January 1st, 2024. He was saved at a young age and was a member of Stoney Gap Baptist Church. He had a record that will never be broken, in Hancock County, by scoring the first touchdown ever made in the schools for Hancock County. Hunter was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gary Johnson and Carolyn Bryant, and Charles and Betty Seal; and great grandparents, Kellis and Elma Sword. He is survived by his daughter, Moleigh Mae; parents, Tony and Jeannie Seal; his sister who was his best friend, Paige (Brent Hickey) Seal; brothers, Samuel, Henry (Bridget), and Jessie Seal; special niece and nephew, Taelynn and Braelynn; special aunt, Kellie (Wayne) Johnson; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family, and friends. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department and Hancock County EMS. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at McNeil Funeral Home from 5:00pm till 8:00pm. Family and friends will meet on Sunday, January 7th, 2024 at McNeil Funeral Home for a 2:00pm funeral service officiated by Rev. Alonzo Collins and Rev. Tracy Clifford. Family and friends will go in procession to Seal Cemetery following the funeral service for the interment. Serving as pallbearers for Hunter will be, Chad Seal, Brian Gordon, Ryan Gordon, Jordon Horton, Jamie Seal, and Brandon Powell. With Chuck Johnson serving as Honorary Pallbearer.
