Ida Collins Davidson, 89 years old of Sneedville, Tn. went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2023. She was long time faithful member of Elm Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by he parents, Roy & Oma Collins; husband, Virgil Davidson; sisters, Geneva Collins, Alice Gibson, Rose Hatfield, Macy Lamar & Ruby Collins; brothers, Taylor Collins & Lester Collins and sons; Austin Collins & Tony CollinsShe is survived by; Sons; Richard Collins of Talbott, Tn. and Carson (Billie) Collins of Rogersville, Tn. Daughter; Lucille (Larry) Anderson of Sneedville, Tn. Sisters; Brenda (Benny) Parks of Sneedville, Tn., Lougene Martin of Sneedville, Tn., Mossy (Eddie) Long of Rutledge, Tn., Mary Hatfield of Jonesville, Va. and Gladys Parks of Rose Hill, Va. Brothers; David Collins of Sneedville, Tn. and Roger (Sandra) Collins of Sneedville, Tn. Ida has 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, all which she loved dearly. She had a host of nieces and nephews She was cared for and loved by some very special nurses; Martha Nichols, Carolyn Collins & Sherry Lamb and Gentiva Hospice in which she loved each dearly.The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the McNeil Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 P.M. Rev. Alonzo Collins & Rev.
