Roberta Mullins

Roberta Marie (Setsor) Mullins, age 92, passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 12, 2024.She was saved at a young age at Cool Branch Missionary Baptist Church during a revival and later became a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to her family whom she loved with all her heart. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. She was well known for her potato salad and banana pudding recipes, as they were always a favorite.She is preceded in death by her parents: Robert and Lucy Setsor, two brothers: Charlie Joe Setsor and E.J. Setsor, her loving husband of 63 years: Ben Mullins, three grandsons: Chris Mullins, Dustin Johnson and Trevor Collins and a daughter-in-law: Jean Mullins.She is survived by three daughters: Sandra Collins (Roger), Carolyn Mullins and Shelby Mullins all of Sneedville, two sons: Ben E. Mullins, Jr. of Sneedville and Billy E. Mullins (Agnelo) of Washington, DC, twelve grandchildren: Deirdre, whom she raised as her own daughter (Roberto), Josh, Jake, Cole, Carlotta, Clarissa, Skyla, Dominic, Eric, Abby, Ashley and Skyla, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great granddaughter as well as a host of family and friends.The family will receive friends on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm at the McNeil Funeral Home in Sneedville, TN. On Saturday, February 17, 2024 the body will lie in state from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral service at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Lance Dalton and Rev. Jeff Seal officiating. Music will be provided by the Friendship Quartet. Interment will follow in the Davis Cemetery.Serving, as pallbearers are Joshua Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Cole Johnson, Dominic Collins, Eric Collins, and Agnelo Da Silva.
